Greetings from the International Astronomical Search Collaboration
There are many Main Belt asteroid discoveries lurking in the PS1 image sets from April 15th. The following is a list of the preliminary discoveries made to date.
There is one additional column in the list, entitled "Linked." This shows which object in your students' MPC report that was actually the asteroid they discovered. IASC changes the names of the discoveries to a convention it uses in all of its campaigns then sends an official report to the MPC including that name.
In the meanwhile, have your students download and analyze the image sets in their team folder, and...
